Q: Can items which are not on stock still be purchased?
A: Items which are not on stock can still be purchased. In this case please note that delivery might take 2 to 3 weeks.

Q: What is the warranty for magnetic encoders?
A: For bearing and shaft encoders (RE22 and RE36) the warranty is 12 months. For non-contact magnetic encoders (RM22 and RM36) and magnetic actuators (RMA) the warranty is 24 months.

Q: Can I purchase only magnet holders?
A: Yes. Please select the RM22 or RM36 resolution encoder you have and then the desired RMA magnet holder. View your basket and delete the RM encoder. The RMA magnet holder will remain in the basket. Proceed to checkout to purchase the actuator.

Q: What is the delivery cost?
A: For shipments inside the European Union the delivery cost is 35 EUR. For shipments outside the European Union the delivery cost amounts to 60 EUR.

Q: What about VAT / Tax duties?
A: All products are DDU basis.

Q: What are the delivery times?
A: The delivery time depends on the country of destination. The express courier used by RLS d.o.o. usually delivers the goods within a week worldwide. (1 to 2 days within Europe,3 days USA)

Q: What is the maximum value I can order via RLSdirect? What if I want to purchase above this value?
A: The maximum transaction value is 3,000 EUR. If you wish to purchase higher values, please contact us and we will send you an offer for the products required.

Q: What are the commodity codes for magnetic encoders?
A: The commodity code for magnetic encoders is: 90318098

Q: Why are the encoders labelled as Renishaw?
A: Renishaw plc is a partner company of RLS d.o.o. and holds a 50% share in the ownership of the company.

Q: What about returns and/or refunds?
A: If an encoder is returned and the mistake and/or flaw resulted on our side, then the encoder will be exchanged with a new one free of charge or fully refunded. In any other case the customer will be charged with the costs of a replacement unit.

Q: What kind of security has been used to ensure secure transfer of information and payment details?
A: The payment system is provided by www.activa.si. RLS hold no card details.
